What we collect

Your email, if you subscribe to the newsletter — that’s the whole point of the box.

Anonymous usage: which pages load, which plans get votes and shares, and how visitors found us (campaign tags on the link you clicked). Votes and events are tied to a random identifier stored in your browser — not your name, not your email, and we don’t connect the two.

What we do with it

Send you the newsletter you asked for, and figure out which plans people actually like so the next batch is better. That’s it.

We use Google’s ads measurement to learn whether our ads work — it sets its own cookies when you arrive from one. We never send Google your email address.

What we don't do

We don’t sell your data, share the subscriber list, or send anything you didn’t sign up for. If a plan is ever sponsored, it says so on the plan.

Who touches the data

The services that run the site: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Postmark (email delivery), Google (ads measurement). Each gets the minimum it needs to do its job.

Making it stop

Every email has a one-click unsubscribe. For anything else — including deleting your email from our records entirely — write to evan@bethere.city and it’s done.
