Saint Andrew's Hall gets LELO and Mastiff on the Pink Tiles Tour, and you'll want dinner close enough to walk it — Bookie's on Cass Ave fits the bill before doors. Tickets are required for the show itself, so lock those down first. After the set, SPKRBOX flips from coffee counter to techno room and keeps pouring until 2am.

Bar Pigalle pours the kind of cocktail list that makes 5pm feel reasonable, and Grey Ghost's dry-aged everything keeps the evening honest before Castalia closes things out with something dark and stirred. Cheap by the glass, expensive in taste — that's the whole trick.

The Biergarten's outdoor tables are made for slow beers under string lights, and there's no reason to rush off Michigan Ave before dark. When the crowd starts thinning, Checker Bar's dive-and-arcade combo downtown keeps the night loose with pinball and cheap wins instead of last call.
