Encarnación's low-lit counter is the kind of place you linger over coffee and pastries without anyone rushing you out. From there it's a two-block stroll to Sister Pie for something sweet, then over to West Village Neighborhood Cafe where local musicians play to a room that's more living room than venue. Nothing about tonight requires a reservation or a plan B.

Saint Andrew's Hall gets LELO and Mastiff on the Pink Tiles Tour, and you'll want dinner close enough to walk it — Bookie's on Cass Ave fits the bill before doors. Tickets are required for the show itself, so lock those down first. After the set, SPKRBOX flips from coffee counter to techno room and keeps pouring until 2am.

Grey Ghost opens the weekend right, dry-aged plates and a cocktail list that doesn't cut corners. Sunday's the real event though: Great Lakes Coffee's espresso martinis at noon, Castalia's back patio through the afternoon, an early dinner at Selden Standard, then Honest John's for whatever's left of the evening.
